This article isn’t “hard science,” but it gets to the heart of how we think, feel, and react to the things that matter to us. I’ve been lucky, in that I haven’t had to cope with anything close to the death, or near death, of one of my children, yet I still worry about it. In fact, I worry about it far more than I ever would have predicted prior to having children. I suppose the worrying goes with the territory of being a parent. In any event, I found this article to be a really interesting read, very compelling.
