Psychology and the Moral Instinct

I was all set to write a review of this wonderful article by Steven Pinker in the NY Times, about the Moral Instinct, but Mind Hacks beat me to it!  Check out their post on the subject.  I may write up something in the near future, but for now, the most important thing is to read what Pinker wrote.  It's a bit long, but well worth the effort.
